Valentine's Day in Seton

For around 4 or 5 years now, Teachers & Staff Day has been celebrated
during the Valentine season in Seton.

So for this year, last February 12, we just had a few games -
cook off, memory game, and a few pool games

Everyone was divided into teams -
Green, yellow -high school teachers,
Red & orange for grade school teachers
and purple and blue for the staff.

I was part of the PURPLE TEAM...
honestly I don't think it goes well with my skin LOL!

What I enjoyed in particular are the gifts
the Student Council gave us this year -
they gave us shirts with
I LIVE TO SERVE
(I LIVE TO TEACH)
printed on them!

undisclosed desires - isn't the title sexy enough?

I miss raving about a new song that i dig as in really like!
So let me just share this one... and come on...
the lyrics are just so dark and sexy!
Sorry but I can't think of any way to describe it
I have not described a song as SEXY - so this is a first!

Undisclosed Desires
MUSE

I know you suffered
But I don't want you to hide
It's cold and loveless
I won't let you be denied

Soothe me
I'll make you feel pure
Trust me
You can be sure

I want to reconcile the violence in your heart
I want to recognize your beauty is not just a mask

I want to exorcise the demons from your past

I want to satisfy the undisclosed desires in your heart

You take your lovers that you're wicked and divine
You may be a sinner
But your innocence is mine

Please me
Show me how it's done
Tease me
You are the one

I want to reconcile the violence in your heart
I want to recognize your beauty is not just a mask
I want to exorcise the demons from your past
I want to satisfy the undisclosed desires in your heart

Please me
Show me how it's done
Trust me
You are the one

I want to reconcile the violence in your heart
I want to recognize your beauty is not just a mask
I want to exorcise the demons from your past
I want to satisfy the undisclosed desires in your heart

Everybody hurts

We received sad news of the passing of our favorite college professor, colleague and friend, ka-inuman and kabarkada, Sir Bob Mendoza at the start of this week.

It was sudden really... heart attack - a thief in the night if you ever saw of one.

We visited the wake last night...lots of former students, batchmates and blockmates were there too - sort of an instant reunion but of course the reason behind it could have been less depressing.

But hey! I heard somewhere that in times like these... when someone passes away and leaves us... we should not be sad for him but instead should rejoice and celebrate his life and be grateful for he has touched and influenced many lives in the short while that he has stayed with us...

So to you Sir Bob... KUDOS!!!

You will surely be missed!

Incidentally I bumped into this video early this morning and it just reminded me of Sir Bob and how he would always support us with his quirky brand of wisdom - it is this new song recorded for the Haiti Relief efforts click here to read more
