We were given a memo by our boss and was asked ...requested to attend this seminar that she recommends for us...though the speaker's only available schedule is on Monday, August 25 - which is a holiday...
then the memo ends with..."let's look at this as a personal gain rather than a job requirement"
one of the other boss when asked whether it's a requirement to attend the seminar...she retorted..."it's not required...though there's pressure"
and of course the foregone conclusion...it is expected that we would all be attending...since I for one plan to work because of a lot of piled up work...
and I just read this email from my barkada...
which was quite had the same sense of "guilt trip" haha
