Things I learned from my free day Saturday

Lessons I've learned (or re-learned whichever the case may be) from my free day Saturday this weekend...

1. I'm not used to eating that much food...that fast!
Goodness! I woke up early - after a late night Friday gimik night watching Wilson Philips @ MOA Arena  may I add - to make a quick phone call to the office and headed back to bed because IT IS A SATURDAY NO WORK DAY for me... then had to drag myself out of bed again around noon...
Checked messages and tweets and spontaneously made arrangements with my new adventure buddy and while rushing through my lunch, was making final arrangements to head off to QC by 2pm?!... GAH! As in di ko ata nalasahan yun kinain ko! haha

2.  It is truly a memorable experience to find and meet new friends and acquaintances...
You never know where such encounters will take you... enough said

3.  There are still good taxi drivers
For the life of me, I've always been anxious whenever I ride a taxi...
Good thing that the taxi rides we took yesterday were uneventful so to speak and the cab drivers were nice too!

4.  My penchant for wearing anything La Sallle in The Ateneo had an exemption if my life depended on it! haha
Define Bonfire... yup! I was there!
and did I mention I was (unfortunately? whichever side you're on) wearing a La Salle shirt - my trip to Katipunan was a spur of the moment thing - really!
So since we were unable to make a side trip for me to buy a new shirt... I had to settle to wearing my jacket! In this heat?! You can just imagine, right?!
And what luck... of course I'd see familiar faces in Ateneo... and of all people, I bumped into one of my current student haha

Me with Ymara - current SC president in school
5.  I CAN NOT stay up late a day before a scheduled run!
And here I was thinking whether or not I can do it one after the other! hahaha
When I arrived home this morning! I was hungry and downed a 2-pc chickenjoy - that is a sure sign that I'm really hungry! Stayed up for a couple of hours coz I was still on a high after the
impromptu adventures I had - one in Tomas Morato and the other in Katipunan!
And woke up with just a couple of hours of sleep to start my Sunday!
My body clock sucks bigtime! haha

random thought: i miss blogging

i miss blogging...
simply put...I feel so busy that I can't find the "idle time" to put down words coherently
and come out with a blogpost...

I've had previous photo albums uploaded
I still have rolls of film in my lomo cameras...
but I can't seem to find a cohesive thought to link them all...

So maybe I'll just simply put links to the photo albums?

Or maybe some other thing will come to mind as I write this...
I do more with spontaneity haha

What's wrong with this picture?

It seems like my friend has tree leaves for hair...

What's wrong with this picture?

No, there are no ghosts here... well not that I can see haha

This is the only picturesque "green" spot in a "dominantly blue" place

What's wrong with this picture?

There should be more balloons to lift this house =P

when La Salle and Ateneo wore one color

We all know that for the past week, a prominent citizen of our country passed on to meet her Maker - the one we all know as Tita Cory...and what better way to commemorate her is to wear her color - yellow!

And I could not have thought that the day would come that Lasallistas and Atenistas will put down their rivalry even for one game and as one honor the icon of democracy and wear yellow!

Goodness! You can hardly see who were Lasallians and who were from The Ateneo when the cameras panned out in the crowd...Gosh! Such overwhelming show of support for Tita Cory and her family...and her grandchildren who were watching the UAAP game last Sunday, August 9 (9th day of Tita Cory) I bet highly appreciated this gesture ... you can't tell where they were seated, I would not have known if I did not read the twitter updates of @jiggycruz who I believe were seated at the Archers' side of the court ...but hey! you can't hardly tell which side is which except for some sprinkling of blue and green shirts

Huwow! and that was one AWESOME and stressful game! I shouted myself hoarse when the final buzzer for the 4th quarter sounded! but hey! That was a good game Ateneo! Congrats!

what were YOU thinking?!

i don't know what this kid was thinking...but I heard that a student of mine...wore an ATENEO shirt while taking the entrance test in DLSU!...

it would have been no problem..maybe since I once saw a student who wore the ANIMO shirt while taking the ACET haha! so someone else did such a stupid stunt...but gosh! this adds insult to the injury! esp in light of the recent loss of DLSU to Ateneo in the UAAP?!?...

ha! you are giving such mixed signals to the college you're applying for to say the least...and you might have just been blocked off their list to put it bluntly!

tsktsk
