To those who know my twitter handle... By now they would know (unless they unfollowed or blocked or muted me) that I join the AlDub twitter party ever since... actually I forgot when I started "opening" my once private twitter account to join in making the AlDub hashtag trend..

Ever since then I remember I gained 200+ followers, which I bet are all like me  - aldub fans -

Pope Francis Speeches and Homilies During His Philippine Visit

There were a lot and I mean a lot of memorable quotes from the whole state and pastoral visit of Pope Francis to the Philippines. I still watch the replays of the events whenever I catch them on TV... And am wishing for a DVD of it should one of these TV networks come up with one 😉

And to further reflect on Pope Francis' messages it was a good thing that Rappler compiled all his speeches and homilies - both impromptu and prepared ones (link found at the end of the blog)

And I really do have lots of quotes that made an impact on me but this in particular is very... Honestly surprising to hear 😉

Timeout for Pope Francis' last mass in the Philippines

We walked from Vito Cruz almost until our hotel in UN Avenue (we were able to grab a pedicab halfway)... A lot of other "pilgrims" braving the rains and heading up to Luneta Grandstand...

That was around 1030 am and our checkin is not until 2pm 🙀

so we patiently waited and I secretly hoped we'd get at least a good room...

And thanks that we did get it even if it was from the 12th floor!

Ma told me that even from far away she can at least tell it was the Pope aside from the popemobile, his yellow raincoat is glaringly obvious 😺

Oh and thanks to the TV coverage too we can at least track where the Pope so we were ready to look out our room's window...

Not to mention that we also went down and waited in the crowd, not minding being drenched in the rain while waiting to catch another glimpse - albeit fleetingly - of Pope Francis!

Let me reiterate it as worth being wet to catch a quick glimpse of him in his Jeepmobile! 😸

Thank you Pope Francis for visiting the Philippines!

Because of the rains and the multitude of people at Luneta, we opted to stay in our room at the Pavillion.

Define fleeting glimpse: Pope Francis in the Philippines

Me and my mom, we took the chance to see the Pope's motorcade on his way to MOA arena and we took our spot at the intersection of Edsa-Macapagal...

And these screenshots will attest (from my short vidclip he was there so quick)... Hindi ako ang nakakita kay Pope, kungdi yun iPad ko at mga sandamakmak na gadgets! 😜😂😂😂

But it was an overwhelming experience to catch a glimpse of him though fleeting...

We feel blessed by the Pope!

My luggage is ready for its next travel ✈️✈️✈️ #butipasyadaigako

And someone else will be using this "new" luggage cover 

before me haha
