did nothing over the weekend

well maybe not...

but this weekend was full of uneventful activities?...haha...just your ordinary regular weekend...which for me was kinda different coz I did nothing much...really...

we had our regular outreach activity at Marilac Hills...together with the school's NTF & staff...I didn't do much there but assisted my co-counselors Emma and Sir Alan with our group's activities...and just took some pictures...that even a few...

we spent half our day there in Alabang...and the traffic dis not help matters...I was waiting for them to pick me up at our village's gate...for 2 hours? i think...haha...so it was a good thing too that the activities we prepared was enough and we ended at noon...

just in time for me to meet up with my friends...at...SM Bicutan...wahahaha...after all the texting and negotiating...I ended up meeting up with Za and MC at SM Bicutan...more convenient for out driver Za of course so there would be just one pick up point...

and we headed off to a rainy Tagaytay...hmmm parang nangyari na ito? haha....the last time we went there it was raining too...and I told them this time...that I only had one jacket with me! hehe...

and i discovered one thing...what do you call... a hotel that you can't get to that quickly...i mean is not that public or accessible unless you have your own vehicle...and i mean...like ...there's no view...and it's in an almost isolated secluded...so private place...???... a tryst hotel! an affair hotel!...an illicit affair laden hotel! wahahaha

that's what we referred to Hotel Kimberly...in Tagaytay...it was really out of the way of the usual tourist destination in Tagaytay...for private people talaga sya...and for those who just want to relax and be away from it all...either legal or illicit hehe...

we stayed here overnight...it was affordable considering that they gave us a discount...they should! we were the only people there...hehehe well we saw a few people the night we came haha...and hardly any the next day when we checked out...

so what did we do here? we slept! haha...well Za and MC slept when we arrived at our rooms...and me...I was preoccupied teaching Sean his Kumon math and reading...Za said that was ne of the reasons she brought her son with her to do their HW...and with me there...who better to assist him haha...so once again I am called Teacher Kit by this kid...

after finishing a few pages of his Kumon and after waking up the mom and the tita...we headed out for our dinner...at The Boutique...hey wait! may resto ba dun i wondered?

and yup true enough...we were ushered inside...to this...boutique resto? huh...but when i read the menu...oh...it's The Original Hawaiin BBQ Grill resto with branches at yada yada yada haha...

now this part I enjoyed...the eating part of course... and why don't you just drool over these photos then haha...

our fave for the night - golden Shrimp

the original hawaiian baby back ribs

ordered Fried Chicken Coco something! for Sean

MC's recommended fried rice...with pineapple and bbq chicken

after downing all that...remember we were only 3 ladies and a little kid...so imagine how we managed that haha...MC and Za ended up having a tummy ache that night... too bad...

but we just had to find another stop...for our dessert...and we ended up at Cafe Breton...where the waiters were fascinated with Sean and kept chatting with him...he even ended up at their kitchen haha...

we went to the shop beside the cafe and browsed through their unique wares and jewelry...snapped a few photos until the staff there told us no pictures please! haha

had a few more photos...and headed back home to the hotel for a restful sleep... and to sleep off those unwanted pounds! grae we were so full that night!

*****

hmmm whoever wakes up early when staying at a hotel?... I know I didn't but when I checked my watch...it was still early...8am! hahaha...damn my biological clock!...

well after rousing each other up...together with Sean and MC we headed off to the lobby resto and had our breakfast...before heading off to the hotel's pool for an early morning swim...and yup! it was still dark and overcast...so you can just imagine the water's temperature...haha...the little tyke was brave enough and splashed away in the kiddie pool...MC had to back out coz it was really so cold that morning...we're in Tagaytay remember and it's not summer anyway...

Sean with "Teacher" Kit

Sean with Tita MC

fiddling with MC's ipod nano

after the kid had enough of the cold...we wnet up and started fixing our things for check out... and once downstairs...took some shots of the hotel lobby... was also quite fascinated with this new arrival...a foreigner and his Pinay wife and kid I believe...haha reminded me again of hte "illicit" hotel monicker...ang bad ko! haha

with Za and MC

and we can't leave Tagaytay withut some pasalubong...so we passed by Ilog ni Maria again...and two ladies replenished their stock of balm and cosmetics..for sure it would take time for them to get back to that shop...

anyone hungry yet? we haven't had lunch...haha and we headed down to Sta. Rosa to catch Kanin Club...but it still opens at 5pm...and so we thought why not eat at its branch in Alabang...better for me since it would be near my drop off...and once e were there...oops! still too early...so we roamed the cluster of restos...ate onion rings at Brothers Burger (no! si MC lang and Sean ang kumain nun!) and went back to Kanin Club...had the usual crispy binagoongan...and something quite new well sort of... Lemon Chicken...which as we all agreed would have been better if it were fish fillet instead haha...

I had to part with them at the gas station...as they headed off back home to Bicutan and QC...and me I just walked to ATC had mass and headed home afterwards...

so after that weekend of doing nothing...am still quite tired haha
